We believe that self care is an act of love. What we choose to adorn ourselves with and bathe ourselves in is part of a sacred ritual. At Chiky Botanica, we are honored to be invited into this precious practice in your life. It is our promise to you to only work with the finest ingredients we can source, to handcraft all products with love and care and to carefully design packaging that is not just conscious of the environment but of your countertop as well.
Ethical Wildcrafting
At Chiky Botanica we are dedicated to preserving natural ecosystems. Many of our products are made with ethically wildcrafted herbs. This means that we put the plant’s needs first - only harvesting from abundant stands during appropriate times in the plant's life cycle. All of our products are made in small batches, which allows us to harvest in small numbers. We always ask for permission from the plant before harvesting - which means some days are spent frolicking around and going home with an empty basket.
PLANT BASED SKIN + BODY CARE
Small batch, organic, herbalist formulated apothecary line enhanced with flower and gem essences for elements of earth and magic. Our product design is founded upon years of study in Traditional Western Herbalism, with a reverence and appreciation for the wild spirt of Mother Nature.
OUR PRACTICE
All of our products are handcrafted at our workshop in the mountains outside of Los Angeles. Many of the herbs we use in our apothecary are ethically wildcrafted or carefully cultivated on the land. We do our best to ensure sustainability of the wilderness by planting seeds from the plants we harvest from.
